South End
Wanda Track – Friday 29th April 2011
•Surfing conditions are very limited today, you’ll need to be keen!
After building to around 5ft late yesterday afternoon, this morning we have 3-4ft of ESE swell at The Nulla. Weather conditions are again pretty uninspiring, as this SSE wind continues to blow, making water surface conditions very choppy. If you are really keen for a wave, head to the south ends, as they seem to be picking up the bigger, cleaner ones. Try The Wall, The Alley or The Point, just don’t expect anything too ripable. The wind is forecast to remain onshore for the next couple of days, but keep an eye on the charts for Sunday morning as you may finally score an offshore session!
Have a great day,
The Nulla.

•The surf has built, but the wind won’t leave!
The Surf has built overnight and is now 3-4ft out of the ESE. Unfortunately the wind is blowing strong SSE making water surface conditions very testing. However, there are some options today as the swell is much straighter and the wind is coming more from the South. Try The Wall, The Alley or The Point, and as the swell builds throughout the day, it may even open up some surfable options towards the port hacking! The water is still warm at 23 degrees but this persistent rain is trying its best to cool things off. Head out now, or after lunch as the mid-morning low tide might make things a little straight!
Have a great day,
The Nulla.
