What we have been waiting for..
Going to be a good weekend for waves! Today is around the 4-5ft mark. Could be even bigger on the sets.
The Wall and The Point where best by far, as the rest of the beach seems to be closing out.
The reports are saying still some increase late afternoon. Keep a lookout for that.

Looking back

Looking back a few months.

Good morning, nothing amazing today down Cronulla. I have decided to just post some shots from early on in the year.
Lets hope we get something like this in the next few weeks!
Today its around 2-3ft. Winds are light, rain is keeping the water surface smooth.
Have a good weekend. Tomorrow could be good, if those winds hold off.

Still nothing around.

Hello again.
Sorry to say, today is very similar to yesterday, maybe a foot bigger in some spots. The fresh south winds got up early and is making the surface bumpy.
We could get a pulse in the swell by thursday……hopefully! but have to wait and see.
Going to be another sunny day, high of 19 Degrees.
Enjoy your day and hopefully I have something better to report tomorrow.

• Small, small, small

Good morning.
Not much to report today! really, really flat, maybe 0.5ft at best.
It is a river today, but the best thing the sun is out, so perfect for a walk or swim.
The swell conditions will continue to be poor as the week goes on……real bummer.
Just enjoy the day and do something else then surfing.

• River Like Conditions……

Hello.
Another chilly morning! But the one good thing was we were given another beautiful sunrise to start the day!
Well I’m sorry to say but we have almost no waves today, like a river!
It will only get smaller as the week goes on…….if thats even possible. Your best off watching some surf films to kill the time waiting for the next big surf day. The charts aren’t given us much on the horizon, hopefully sooner then later something comes around our way.

Down The Park

Down the Park is a free event, all-ages are welcome. It will be held on the 2nd of April 2011, from 12pm – 5pm at Cronulla’s Dunningham Park. live music, a velcro wall, a street skate set up and half pipe for skaters and much more.

WEDNESDAY 18th OF MAY

• Solid surf, around 4-5ft!

This morning we are greeted with beautiful sunshine, offshore winds and a solid 4-5ft of South Swell that has really built overnight, even producing the odd 6ft bomb! The Point and Reefs are your best option but if you are up for the paddle there’s a good bank at The Wall. High tide is around 8:45am so The Point and Reefs will improve as it gets a little lower, but you can expect some straight-handers along the beach. The wind is light WNW but is forecast to swing E, so try and get in there ASAP.
